Dia de Muertos

Day of the dead is a Mexican national holiday that is celebreated during November 1st and 2nd. Its roots date back to ancient Mexican rituals and Catholic traditions brought by the Spaniards. Death was considered a part of the natural process in which the physical life and the spiritual life (death) are part of the same cycle. The image of death can be found in all forms of Mexican art from elaborate murals to simple decorate objects
