One of the great things about being in the same town as a Top Ten University is that I can attend different events. Medill, Northwestern’s University’s Journalism School, is one of, is not the best, in America. Which is how I found myself yesterday afternoon at a talk by Martha Raddatz, senior foreign affairs correspondent for ABC News and a White House correspondent during the last term of President George W. Bush’s administration. It was really interesting, she was happy to answer loads of questions, and there was even a reception afterwards. Not bad for a free event!
