Yesterday was Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. At Kellogg, this involves watching the movie and going to see the Cubs play baseball at Wrigley Stadium (one of the oldest and probably the most iconic baseball stadium in the US). Because this is business school, the game is book-ended by pre-game and post-game drinking. Wrigleyville itself is an entire suburb dedicated to bars and restaurants catering to all the fans who go to see the games. Because the crowds who go to the games can be so disruptive, the Cubs are one of the few teams who never play games on Friday nights – Wrigleyville gets too chaotic and messy, so the League shut down the Friday night games! In short, a great day was had by all.
